    Stok gas grills

Parts are difficult to obtain on some models. I picked up an absolutely filthy Stok Gridiron portable - it was free. Once I got all the crud cleaned out of the cooking chamber - I realized the burner was shot. No parts available. Fortunately a couple of weeks later someone posted a BNIB burner...

    Grill Heaven!

Here in Canada (especially in Ontario) Napoleon grills are as popular as Weber. The factory is 50 miles north of Toronto in Barrie ON. I have both - I use a Weber S320 as my Winter BBQ and a Napoleon Prestige 750 as my Spring/Summer/Fall BBQ. Napoleon have several series of gassers - with the...

What is the story on the newer Ducane grills?

I bought my son a lightly used Ducane Affinity 4100 on Kijiji - when he was moving out to live with a couple of buddies and was looking for a BBQ. I knew the story of how Weber Stephens corp bought the rights to Ducane when they were going out of business and decided to use Ducane as their...

All the damaged box/store returns BBQ parts and accessories were $5 ea. I spent around $100 on a couple of...

Comparing Restoring a Broilmaster to a Weber

Both my Ducks Unlimited and the black one are natural gas. Both came with the same "waterfall" grills - though the ones with the black grill have some of the porcelain coating worn/chipped off and are a bit rusty.

Comparing Restoring a Broilmaster to a Weber

Here's some photos: Broilmaster Ducks Unlimited P3 before my minor restoration (photo taken after I refinished the teak): Broilmaster Ducks Unlimited P3 after minor restoration: My latest restoral project (the before picture): Any Broilmaster experts here? - I can't find the model of the...

Comparing Restoring a Broilmaster to a Weber

I managed to pick up a Broilmaster P3 Ducks Unlimited NG (that's what the green ones are called) for $40 on Kijiji here in Toronto. The grill was owned by a senior citizen who was moving to a retirement home - she used it 2 or 3 times and then left it sitting covered and un-used for years. Even...
