    old red found in barn

it's pink, and made in arlington heights. i'm confused on the color. if its a faded red, why are there 2 bands of unfaded. It can't be related to the light, as the gradients are even all the way around the kettle. from what I gather, the two tone reds were several years after this grills age...

help troubleshooting propane assist on performer

20 lb tanks are fugly. my 5lb is OPD and still has 2 years left before the refill place will supposedly stop filling it. i'm pretty good as social manipulation, i'm not worried about some high school kid telling me he can't refill my tank because its old.

greetings and salutations i'm wrapping up the restoration of a red stainless performer. I managed to get the propane tank refilled (a whopping $2, WOW) I attempted to test out the gas assist yesterday, but couldn't get it to light. As far as i can tell, there is no propane coming out of the...

    My new 26

i used two old 22" cooking grates as my charcoal grates for my old 26. i found 2 that had the welds broken already, so they were a tiny bit smaller. (i have 20+ old grates in my garage) the coal is a bit close to the cooking grate, but its fine.

Rare Lime Green Bar B Kettle

i THINK the lime's were before the avocados, likely mid to late 60s. i'm uncaffeinated (retarded) right now, but from what I remember, my lime doesn't have any patent pending stamp in the damper - which dates it pre-1970
