LinkMeter v2 Homebrew BBQ Controller - Part 2

The automatic shutdown is part of the Alarm system that I'm sort of working on. One of the actions you'll be able to configure is a setpoint change. The MOSFET in the project is good for 60A/60W with an Rds(on) of 0.009 ohms. How much more capable a part are you looking for? I'd be more...

I use this fan http://www.surpluscenter.com/i...tem=16-1358&catname= with this power supply http://www.ebay.com/itm/280870...id=p3984.m1497.l2649 I've used the linkmeter 3 times now on my large reverse flow smoker (3'x5' cook chamber with a 2'x2' fire box) with no problems. Hope this helps.

If it is still running the stock Linksys firmware, plug your computer directly into the WRT54G and then you should be able to access http://192.168.1.1/ On the rebooting issue I've had never had a problem with the router rebooting itself during a cook. It is possible though if the device runs...

Any way to make the pit temp and the set temp to scroll on the top line like the bottom line does with the food probes? Something like this: Pit:224*F [100%] Set:225*F [100%]

LinkMeter v2 Homebrew BBQ Controller - Part 2

Did a test run with the linkmeter yesterday all went well for a 6 hour session. The only problem I encountered was the router itself rebooted about 4 hours in and I lost the 1st 4 hours of graphing other then that very smooth sailing.

LinkMeter v2 Homebrew BBQ Controller - Part 2

That's a good question. The HeaterMeter board pulls roughly 15mA, the LCD+backlight is about another 25mA. The RFM12B adds another (up to) 50mA. The router I have no idea, I assume at least 500mA. Remember that the 0.68A is current draw when the fan is running at 100% and the actual current...

The Makefile doesn't work yet, so you don't need to change anything there. I know the only difference between the 328 and 328p is that the P is "PicoPower". I could never really find any documentation on what that means exactly though. I think it might just mean it supports the sleep states and...

Great project!!!! I ordered boards from iteadstudio.com yesterday. 8 for $30. Can the Linksys WRT54G be used or does it have to be the GL model? Also for anyone looking for blower fans that are a bit larger check these out https://www.surpluscenter.com/item.asp?item=16-1358 I have an offset...
