    LinkMeter v11 and firmware

732 probes w/22k resistors on HM4.0. It's always been noise sensitive. Unuseable with a digital power supply, probes drop completely out 75% of the time. Only thing that works is transformer based power supply with the above results. I will downgrade and see what happens. In addition, my...

    LinkMeter v11 and firmware

Should I investigate this further? Is my error level significantly more than what others see? The image I posted shows the difference in the v11 firmware and v10.

    LinkMeter v11 and firmware

No idea, they are ET-723 probes with 22k resistors. It's so bad it is unsealable with a digital power supply, I have to use one with a transformer. I thought this was normal. Maybe I should take it apart and do some testing.....

Just updated and all looks good, however, I can now see how much error I've had. Graphs are a lot less straight.

On second though, I may have used the second method, I just looked at my config and Min is set to 100%, max is set to 95%.

For me, it's about staying current with the software which is somewhat tied to the hardware. That said, I wasn't complaining, just inquiring about features and support. I might look at the other method as well.

I do the latter, standard output to the SSR. It's not perfect but it works well enough for what I need.

Interesting. Will there still be support for those of us running an SSR that drives an electric element?

Bryan, is it possible that the caps were letting something through? I know on my 2 current HMs that if I use a small digital PS that the readings drop out at least 50% of the readings. If I use a transformer based PS I have no problems.

    How is it?

IE works just fine for me. Possibly you have it configured to use a proxy?

Thanks for your efforts Bryan. FWIW, I have relegated my issues with the 732 probed to noise from the PS. If I use wal wart with the hi freq VR I get all sorts of bad readings and drop outs even at high temps. If I use a transformer based PS it functions normally.
