I never considered the E6. For me there's not enough of a price difference to go without the full cart and gas assist.

That's what I paid back on December 10th. That's the only price I've seen they have had it. Difference is when I bought it the MSRP was $2149.00 Now, it's $1799.99 so it's a smaller discount, but same final sale price.

It's how Smithey says it can be done and ours are really well seasoned. For me I always know it's done well when my wife makes cornbread and she just turns the pan over and the whole thing slides right out every time.

That is completely reasonable. I also don't like the small propane bottles so I got a 5lb bottle to use just like the performer so that I don't have to fill it as much. But, I like the idea of a second charcoal grate.
