Thanks, but we're not quite there yet. We do enter 2 Master Series comps a year including the Open at the KCBS World Invitational. We qualified for the Invitational next year too, so we will do that again.

We just finished our KCBS Barbecue Competition Season last weekend. Making the boxes… Prepping the chicken Our chicken turn in box Ribs are on! Almost ready… Send them! We placed 2nd in Chicken, 2nd in Ribs, and were the Reserve Grand Champion!

This is a comment card that Bob is referring to, and actually the one that I received on this chicken entry at this competition. We review these cards and look for constructive criticism; however sometimes we disagree. Obviously everyone’s opinion is subjective. For example Judge number 5...

We competed in a rib competition yesterday in Chillicothe, IL with a combination of KCBS Backyard and Master Series teams! We placed a respectable 12th out of 19 teams in the first dip and got a 4th Place call out of 18 in the second. Below are a few pics from the event.

Chicken finished 5th out of 36 yesterday!

We are trying a new presentation for our chicken box. All comments are welcome!

We got a 2nd Place Call in Ribs, and with our 13th Place Chicken, we finished 4th Overall out of 26 talented teams!

After our 1st Place call in Chicken, We followed up with a 6th Place call in Ribs, To place 4th Overall! We have 3 weeks off until our next competition. Thanks for looking!
