Ideas on modding and extending a kettle for cheap

Just got a 22.5 ots on sale at the old home depot and am looking to make it crazy for under $300 bucks total to show it can be done cheaper than a wsm. The end goal is to be able to smoke a 75 pound suckling in there whole. Any suggestions? I'm going to make this grill legendary!
