My first annual check and maintenance on The front of my Summit cookbox. Looks ok after after 1 year. I can see some surface rust inside underneath. That’s for another day to take apart and clean.

Another option, if you want an LP grill, is to ask Weber if they will replace your NG with an LP model. 3 months, never used. I know it sounds like a long shot, but if Might be worth a try.

Right good point Kyle. I think I have an old Tank scale somewhere, although it was for an older Genesis. Tank might fit in there without a hole?

Here’s a good question. Can you simply swap out the NG manifold In that grill with the correct LP manifold?

There are 4 NG Genesis grills for sale on the Ottawa site. They can be hard to move.

2008 Genesis...Some rust inside the cab. Can this rust be removed and painted?

Ha! I knew I had seen a 6 burner Genesis at some point. I had even checked the Weber web site earlier today to see if one existed. That’s a nice grill! Was the cookbox porcelain or aluminum?

I might try it this weekend just picked up a 15 lb whole brisket at Costco. It’s half the price it was 2 months ago. Markets are fluctuating?

Maybe they will stop making them and come out with a 6-burner Genesis instead. Would make perfect sense to me.
