I found a few old 4.2 boards laying around and figure I would put them together for some friends, I had all the parts except for the stupid buttons, which I got a from John (thanks). I put them in the boards... the correct way, but they don't work, any way to troubleshoot what the issue could...

Lots of us are able to sell prints, there is a thread about selling / trading... his one of us up and you can get some printed parts

i downloaded the /dl file for the zero today and flashed 2 pi's, "zero" problems

not full on crash, just blinking like, on / off, servo works, open / close, fan on / off...

rpi a and b good here, just that damn zero, tried kingston and sandisk each were 8gb

oh, wiring it prob messed up, it's doing this with no cap, hell, the electronics arent even in the body and it's doing it, dont know what could be wrong, all wires are isolated, soldered, heat shrink, and the microdamper works... so :confused:

I have tried to make one of these a few times, tight, OMG, so tight... but once i get it all wired up, it works, ish, but the HM just flashes, blinks, goes nuts, the microdamper turns on, fan blows, servo moves, but the HM is ****ed, any ideas?

So... should I still test with my virgin pi's and hm's, or do we have an idea on what is going on?

I will try again tomorrow when I get off work and report back to you... btw, these are all from adafruit, so what I have, is what you should be getting

Odd... i tried 2 different boards, 2 different cards, norestore (since they loaded with the rpi b)... nothing, Ralph gave me his img and it worked 1st try, right into AP mode, then I got in, set the wifi to client and joined my wifi... Either way, im up, im working, im keeping the img from...

I grabbed what was available at heatermeter.com/dl picked the zero w, lil shy of 30mb d/l... nadda I know I dont have to ask you, but you did do a norestore right? ;)

getting real tired of you being so awesome Ralph!! it's working, they are all working now!

booting it on it's own works fine, well, with raspberian, now with the hm image... the image is 29.7mb that i downloaded and burned to the sdcard

they are zero w's, raspberian works fine on them... good question though, i've had stupider moments

well, i tried 2 different pi zero's, 2 different sd cards, so basically 4 possible combinations, all the same result... nadda. I can however load raspberian and it works like a champ... ideas?
