Yes, that's what I did. I used bolts to put those back in. It took about 15 min. and only one beer . Two more beers after the job was done to admire my handy work =) Peter

With charcoal I use DigiQ so no problem at all. With pellets its run with hopper controller so no problem. To finish off charcoal and dry the smoker at the end of cooking in makes great draw of air. All in all I like it a lot =) Peter

Pete When Im not using the hopper I just pull it out of there and use the piece of WSM bowl that I did cut out to "patch" the hole with high heat tape. Works great. Hope this helps.

=) I made the smoke stack. Keeps the smoke out of my face. And what kinda smoker does not have a smoke stack ? =)

Thank you for the info Mr. Chris. Yes I did not go with the ring. Figured it would be just too much empty useless space to heat up. This way I may save on fuel....maybe. Also with the ring its just way too easy=) Peter

As always I just cant stop messing with my WSM. This time Im trying Smoke Daddy pellet hopper...........=) Did just first "dry run" with it just to see how it works. I like it for now. Will cook some Q with it soon. It takes me about 5 minutes to go from charcoal to pellets or pellets set up to...
