Coffee Beans what's in your grinder ???

I noticed something along these lines when comparing the grounds coming from my two different grinders...the Baratza Encore in our PA home and the Delonghi Ariete grinder in our NJ beach house. Using the same amount of beans and identicalMoccamasters to brew, the Delonghi seems to produce more...

Coffee Beans what's in your grinder ???

The Aldi chocolate bars are the real deal German chocolate at a fraction of the price of Ritter Sport bars. Excellent.

Coffee Beans what's in your grinder ???

I'm going to have to look for it in the local Aldi. Haven't seen whole bean there for awhile.

New The Huntsman Kettle Kamado Grill from Spider coming.

I get it with some accessories. In fact, I've been loving my OnlyFire gas grill pizza oven thing...but I only paid $45 for it. A rotisserie for a gas grill is certainly a worthwhile accessory as well. I think BGE and even worse, KamadoJoe....it's almost to the level of blatant exploitation...

New The Huntsman Kettle Kamado Grill from Spider coming.

Ahh. I was confusing their kettle pellet attachment with the Huntsman! OK...Charcoal and wood.

New The Huntsman Kettle Kamado Grill from Spider coming.

Admittedly, I was initially skeptical upon reading the first few posts and watching Horsman. Partly because I despise all of the "required" accessories at bloated prices...like the shelves and the diffuser attachments...not just the Huntsman, Kamado Joe is ridiculous with it...SloRoller...

New The Huntsman Kettle Kamado Grill from Spider coming.

Additionally, I have to think that the choice of carbon steel construction is intended to come close to the heat retention ability of ceramic without the fragility and weight. Tip a BGE or Kamado Joe over and that's it. Tip that thing over(or a WSK for that matter) and just keep on going.

New The Huntsman Kettle Kamado Grill from Spider coming.

Thank you, Sir...but it's easy work with a good cup of coffee and 15 minutes with Google. You're correct. These are a group of pretty smart folks. I suspect their marketing budget for this Huntsman grill is next to nothing....a very good, user friendly website and get the product out through...

New The Huntsman Kettle Kamado Grill from Spider coming.

So it seems this Spider Grills is essentially a part of a product development group with offices in both Georgia and China. They seem to also be directly connected to Kamado Joe and some other "outdoor" brands. If I'm understanding it correctly, they are focused on developing BBQing...

    A compact Pellet Grill

I get it for camping, tailgating, an RV perhaps .

    A compact Pellet Grill

The thing weighs 50lbs...not exactly easy to carry around. The feature that suggests pouring booze or wine into the fire pot for steam flavor is flat out weird.

    The Searwood has arrived!

In fairness, Horsman is a seasoned YouTube content creator. He's got the right camera, lighting and microphone. The Sambo guy is a notch above doing everything with an iPhone 12...he's got a GoPro or similar but that's about it. He does throw the term "pit" around loosely...it's a grill not a pit.

    12" NS skillet recs?

The Gotham Steel , Blue Diamond, etc...are not good. They seem great for the first six months or so but go downhill rapidly from there. We just dropped $50 on a Crate & Barrel nonstick...same coating as the others I mentioned but heavier stainless construction. I've found the Members Mark...

Got the dreaded E7 error on Mother's day

I'm quite sure you've not said anything that has upset anyone, Sir. There's only one person posting in this thread that is a problem and it's for 100% certainly not you.

    New Television

I tend to agree. I think one hits a point of diminishing returns regarding picture quality. Plus, there are a few variables like ambient light, viewing distance, viewing angle, etc...to consider. The 65" Hisense Roku TV I bought 5 years ago has an amazing picture...I think I paid $350 for it...

    Considering a superautomatic

I'm quite sure the water at our place is fine and does not influence the taste of coffee, either drip brewed in the Moccamaster or as espresso from the Gaggia. It can't hurt to filter it for the espresso machine though just for purposes of maintenance. But the reservoir is small and the filter...

    Quartz v granite counter tops.

Went with quartz when we redid the kitchen 3 years ago. Looks great, easy to maintain. Hot pots stay on the stove. That's an overblown issue with the heat too.
