I suspect those flavorizers are worse than the depicted. It's not so expensive to throw stainless flavorizers in and sometimes the grates and flavorizers are a decent package deal. Also need to see pics of the grease trap.

Back in business. Clean installation which included cutting out the feed line leftover from that stupid Hayward chlorinator. Much more quiet than the old one. $1065 installed with the additional plumbing. Fair price to me.

I'm pretty sure whole bean coffee varieties are a regional distribution thing for Costco.

$20 with tax is steep for a pack of wipes when you can buy a gallon of Zep All Purpose cleaner for $9 and a 15 pack of microfiber cloths for $10 and wash as needed.

Look to see if that Costco has Peet's Major Dickasons on sale for $12-13. You won't be disappointed.

I replaced the funnel shaped grommet with the newer, smaller 0 ring style one. Big difference with zero retention. At $6/lb. the Major Dickasons is hard to beat. Too oily for my little Gaggia Brera though.

Good point about the quiet part. The Baratza Encore is flat out loud. Doesn't really matter so much because it's just my wife and I and the 2 dogs and the master bedroom is pretty far away from the kitchen. It's slow though. A dosing or timing feature doesn't matter to me. I grind the same...

I don't know who Costco contracts with for large item delivery service or if it's a nationwide contract or done regionally.

I'm not so sure $139 is a screaming deal for a grinder. They are nice looking for a grinder though. I wonder who makes KA countertop appliances besides the mixers. I know Whirlpool owns a majority stake in a Chinese appliance manufacturer...something Sanyo. Just opened a new bag of the Kirkland...

Some of the Costco burgers are 1/3lb. which we find too big. I think they carry 1/4 lb ones too though. Have had the grass fed ones and they're good but again at 1/3lb a bit too much.
