    Genesis Silver B - SCORE

Just looked last night, 3 C bats per side, must add some weight to the handle too. Thanks for tip on spring pressure, I wonder if clipping/shortening the spring may help i.e. less pressure when loaded.

Weber Smoker for Genesis Silver B 2001

We have the Big Easy too. Every Easter and Thanksgiving we're away camping. The Weber Q won't manage a 14 lb. turkey but the Big Easy does nicely, and without the mess of an oil fryer not to mention the price of oil.

    Genesis Silver B - SCORE

Genesis Silver B - Score Well I've been watching the local classifieds for a good deal on a older but cared for Genny - and it came up last night, picked it up this morning. It was a few bucks more than some of the others listed but it much better condition. The lid and control panel are...

Which smokey joe for a mini WSM.

If I had to build one, the GOLD makes best sense to me as the base of a smoker. For straight grilling duties, my money would be on the Silver. If I wanted something to do both well........the Jumbo. Great as a grill and big enough for small indirect setups and smokes. Good luck.

    Painting the Q lid?

Agreed, Troy's finish is sharper, but black has been done by Weber, just sayin' ;)

    Painting the Q lid?

Weber does do that.......they call it the "Black Line" but they are not available in North America, only over seas that I've seen. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Weber-3200-Black-Line-Barbecue/dp/B00H85MI0K To the OP, Q looks awesome, nice work. Almost too pretty to cook with ;).

    Need HELP Identifying Older Weber

Morning I've been watching the local classifieds for an older Weber as a "restore" project and came across this one, BUT...........I can't identify it. At first I thought Genesis Silver B......but the handle looks 1000..........Any ideas or am I wrong and it is one of these? Thanks

    Smoking on a Genesis E-330

Years back on a past gasser I tried smoking. Although I produced smoke I never really achieved "real" smokey flavour. There was a hint of it perhaps but not much. And it was too much labour to keep replenishing the chips over and over. For me I came to one conclusion, gassers are just grills...

    My PORTABLE mini!

One of the nicest builds I've seen, well done. I've wanted to do this but have yet to pull the trigger.......procrastinating is SOOOO much easier ;).

    Cover for Q3200?

Well at least it's removable so if the cook is more about grill space, it stores away easy enough.

    Cover for Q3200?

I think you're right - no grills. The WSMs do (but that's a smoker). Wonder why Weber does for the WSM and nothing else.

    A picture might help.

    Cover for Q3200?

Unless Weber has changed something, my 320 did NOT come with a cover, had to buy it separately. GREAT grill by the way. The warming rack is kind of useless I find but other than that, it's awesome. Has the snow melted out there on "the rock" yet? We had a bad winter here in Ontario but I know...

    Cart for new Q 2200

I have the old cart and find it pretty solid considering it's foldable. Certainly not as solid as my 320's cart. My statement of "more substantial" is not from experience just a visual observation that the new design "LOOKS beefier".....that's a term that may work well in this group ;)...

    Cart for new Q 2200

The feet on the old Qs vs. new Qs are different if you look closely. I recently grabbed up one of the old carts (6549) because I've wanted one for a while and in these parts (Ontario) the old carts were becoming hard to find - it took some leg work. The new carts are about $20 more than the...

    Q200 Purchase

Well this past Easter weekend we were out camping and it became apparent to me we've outgrown our beloved and trusted Q120. My kids (now at 11 and 13) have bigger appetites then when we bought the 120 6 years ago. So earlier this week I was at my BBQ shop and amongst all the pretty new style...
