My RPI3 arrived just today, what a coincidence! And its up and running, just having some wifi configuration issues and for some reason my trusty old 4GB SD card doesn't work while my new 64GB card just works fine. Anyway, great work Bryan!

This is the same type of blower that I used in the past. Works fine, mine was setup to maximum 30%. Don't buy them from RS but get a cheapie from ebay or aliexpress.

I don't have any experience with these cheap Ebay thermocouples, so far I've only used the Auberins alligator clips, but for my next batch I might buy a couple just to see how good or bad they are.
