    Yes parts for the newer 2017 Genesis and later are expensive. Even cast iron grates for the II 3xx is over $100 As far as Charbroil, not sure i understand from a parts cost ? i would think Weber is better designed for sure than Charbroil, maybe parts quality ?     Dont think copyright is an issue pretty much all parts have been copied and sold for the x000 and B/C series.

    I looked for the x000 series parts: manifold, burners, flavorizer bars over $200 Drip tray about $50 Other misc parts another $50 so about $300 a great grill for at least 5 to 8 years.     Had stuff listed beginning of last year for months. As soon as Memorial Day rolled around sold immediately.

    Is one or the other. If is too lightweight people would say too flimsy but portable, if too heavy not portable. Looks like is portable at least when pulled, but yes probably two people required to lift it up.
