    Napoleon Prestige

It's also interesting that napoleon is outsourcing some of their grills to China just as Weber has done.

    Napoleon Prestige

Kind of interesting reading about the brand. https://lovethatbarbecue.com/thinking-of-buying-a-napoleon-grill-here-is-the-skinny/

    Napoleon Prestige

Nice score. Napoleon is the only grill I would possibly consider over a weber. Still don't care for those gimmicky wavy grates though.

Weber Genesis Burner Issue - Need Advice

I don't think that's true? It's not listed in this troubleshooting guide. https://www.hunker.com/12298860/how-to-troubleshoot-problems-with-a-propane-tank

    2018 Done, 2019 Getting Started

I like the fireplace too. We are thinking about one for our deck. Probably can't find a Weber though. Is that a different color genesis? Looks kind of orange/red rather than the standard weber red.

    Is this just bad metal?

I thought that wrinkle was a trick of the light? If not I do think it's a protective film that needs to be peeled off as others have stated. If not it should probably go back.

    Spirit 210 too Hot?

Good to know. There are several on here that put down the quality of the newer webers especially the Spirit models. I've got a buddy that has had one (Spirit 210) for about 3 years and his is holding up well too. Good to hear from someone else that has owned one (or 2) for that length of time...

    Spirit 210 too Hot?

So you've owned your Spirit 210 4 years? Is it holding up well?

Saw This On Our Short Vacation

I love dogs. Never been without one. To me they are literally one of the best things in life. And I've had some wonderful ones in my 59 + years.

I've not ever heard of Springer labs? Are they a springer spaniel / lab crossbreed?

Saw This On Our Short Vacation

To me it's always a nice surprise when we stay somewhere and there is a nice quality grill available to cook on. It's happened to us a few times too. Love the pic of the dog with the tennis ball.

I hope Weber means what they are saying...

As we've said before only time will tell us how well the new weber genesis II and spirit II grills hold up. Of course if you are comparing them from a durability standpoint to the standard big box grills the bar is set very very low. The webers do sell for two and three times as much (or more)...

    Free Broilermaster

If it's from the 60's that's amazing that it's still functional. And looks that good. Broilmaster makes some tough grills though. Even tougher than the old weber gassers IMO.

Stainless Steel Grate Throwdown Challenge Results

Jon you are right what is best does depend on what you want out of the grates and how much you want to spend. But regardless thank you for the additional post above with some of your thoughts. It's helpful and interesting.

Jon I know it's subjective but it would be interesting to know your ranking of these grates from best to worst.

    Spirit II E-210 Gas Grill

That's a beautiful grill. I like that color better than the stainless. I think you'll like it a lot.

    Spirit II E-210 Gas Grill

Lance my best friend has a spirit 2 burner. He loves his. It's 3 years old and holding up well. I've never heard him say he wished he had the larger 3 burner. But I have both a 2 and a 3 burner weber on my deck. I use and like both. But if I could only have one it would be the 3 burner. It's...

In progress restoration of '92 Genesis 2

I think several members have patched a small hole in the firebox like that with a high temp patching compound. I think it was jb weld extreme heat.
