    by Bryan a beer link?

He has an Amazon link on the Donations page, use it any time you buy something. In the next year or so my Amazon purchases should pay his entire R&D expenses since he started this thing. As far as beer goes, he makes his own.

Pit Meter - iPhone app for the HeaterMeter

Good thinking, Darren. The new build that you pushed out fixed it.

Pit Meter - iPhone app for the HeaterMeter

I've done all that twice and still no go. That is my UUID. The only issue I see is that Testflight identifies my device as a iPhone 5s GSM, when it is a CDMA phone, but that could just be a silly labelling issue. Testflight is messed up in this regard and needs a fix.

Pit Meter - iPhone app for the HeaterMeter

I'm unable to install it. I see that you've added my 5s to Testflight, so I cleared out the old provisioning profile that was installed from my 4s restore, rebooted, installed the provisioning profile again, and attempted to install. Watching the app icon's status, the full binary is downloaded...

Pit Meter - iPhone app for the HeaterMeter

Darren, are you getting this up on the App Store? I have my 5s now so if you could approve it in Testflight, that'd be great. I was thinking, how many references do you have to the HeaterMeter wiki site? It might be a good idea to have it in an About or Credits screen so people who download the...

Pizza Kettle/Weber BBQ - Serious Eats Hack

I have a large Big Green Egg and I'm fairly certain that the above setup will do a better job easier, but I'm still practicing making pizzas on the BGE. The above pizzas are my benchmark, anything else and I can just use my indoor oven cheaper and faster.

    INTRODUCING: the "Roto Damper"

100Mb Ethernet runs at 100 meter segments before requiring a repeater, I think you'll be fine unless you're pushing much less power than Ethernet to your probes to your buddy's house all the way down the street.

    The Development Log

Do you have a nightly build those of us living on the edge that can help you? It's nice to have final releases, but some of us are willing to work off of your latest development build as long as we can see your changes and/or diffs. I'd be willing to set up Trac or an alternative for you.

Looking for Maverick probe thermistor data table

How beer gracious have they been? How much beer do you now have, because you should have a **** ton with your setup?!

    INTRODUCING: the "Roto Damper"

I don't think there would be a way to completely close it in that scenario, which is what you want to be able to do.

Are the files you have linked in the first post the latest if I could find someone else to print it for me?

Pit Meter - iPhone app for the HeaterMeter

Could you enroll me again? I have a new phone (and will be changing again in a week or so). Testflight won't let me install the app on this phone even though I deleted the old one.

    Heatermeter/Raspberry Pi IP Address problem

You're not keeping it plugged in to Ethernet when you attempt to find it on your wireless network, do you? I think the Software page clearly states that won't work, the HeaterMeter has to be rebooted with the Ethernet unplugged for it to switch over to WiFi.

    Heater Meter Waterproofing Ideas

Excellent, Alan. That was one option Matt and I discussed yesterday for folks that really need it in a hurry, which is just putting the HeaterMeter box into a bigger rainproof box. That whole setup must have cost you no more than $9!

    Heater Meter Waterproofing Ideas

Matt and I were chatting about this yesterday. If you can live without the display, button, and LEDs you can really cut down the number of holes in your case, making it that much more waterproof. If you want to keep the LEDs, you can use lightpipes that are completely watertight to pipe light up...
