Bit cheeky posting this here.....but. I'm looking around for a pellet grill to fit my needs. I've not completely ruled out a Weber, but been looking at Pit Boss & Traeger ones. But this Broil King one has caught my eye. Broil King Regal 500 Pro I understand Broil King have any just started...

    New Searwood pic.

Thanks. I've a couple of Weber Kettles, different eras (just can't seem to part with them and a SM. But I've reached an age and time when I can't be a***d with tending them, hence my desire for a all in one device I can grill, sear smoke etc. I was hoping the Searwood would of been the latest of...

    New Searwood pic.

Sorry didn't intend to upset existing SmokeFire owners, and thanks to those who have posted about the Stealth model etc. Although the Searwood is cheaper than existing, and looks like an 'Essentials' model, it still appears to have 'drastic' changes to it, which suggests the original but...

    New Searwood pic.

I've had a reply from Weber UK, the Searwood isn't due to be sold in the UK. The Sear+ is also not for retail in the UK. As the Stealth was just a rebranding of the original SmokeFire, I'm probably going to bug out and look at other manufacturers who are offering something more current, perhaps...

    New Searwood pic.

Seems Weber are selling the Searwood, Smoke Fire Sear+, the Stealth and the original Smoke Fire alongside each other, are they hedging their bets. I thought the original was going to go. We in the UK can't get the Sear +, so I don't see the Searwood being sold here. Think I might be looking...

    New Searwood pic.

I'm sat on the fence, waiting for more details about the Searwood before I commit to a new smoker/BBQ. I don't want to have to hang around, keeping an eye on my smoker, like I have to with my WSM. My son has a MasterBuilt, which mainly smokes on, but has used it to sear etc. He's not had any...

A new Weber pellet grill - The Searwood

Just as an aside , in the UK the EX6 retails for around £1700.00 which equates to just over $2000. I see Weber US retails the EX6 for $1299.00, which equates to just over £1000.00. Someone is making a killing. Still we can get the coconut briquettes ;)

Good Deal On EX4 or EX6 Shelves In The UK

Seems some good deals there. I'm pausing until next spring before I buy a Smoke Fire, we can't buy the Sear + here, and I'm thinking Weber might realise something else next year.

    Weber Smokefire 3rd edition

Getting old is pants, isn't it. I've just had eye surgery, and had to lie face down for 7 days & nights. No telly and no forums! Resorted to listening to footie on Alexa. Speedy recovery guys. Still wondering whether to get a Smokefire/Sear, to tidy up my BBQ area, by getting rid of my SM and a...

    Anyone air frying?

Mine has that option, used typically to make dried fruit or meats etc. Tried last year on some of my surplus tomatoes, and after quite a few hours I gave up. Think it would give some good results, but don't think its worth the energy used; after all thats one of an air fryers big sells, to save...

    Anyone air frying?

Air fryers are big in demand in the UK, due to higher energy costs, which have sky rocketed. Some makes of fryers go out of stock, as soon as they come in. So we are just using them, to save energy, although its healthier cooking.
