My initial plan was to sell it (and probably still is). I've been using my 3-burner Junior since mothballing the S-320 and have absolutely loved it. I don't have room for two gassers, so one of them will have to go.

It's (at least currently) a natural gasser. I've bookmarked several cheap propane grill listings in case I want to switch it over. If I do convert to LP, the tank will definitely be outboarded.

It definitely cooks. I have a Genny 1000 NG manifold on it now, along with a set of Grill Grates. It's absolutely perfect for our empty nest household.

The 3-burner Genny 1000 manifold definitely fits. It only takes a "little" modification to go to three burners . . .

My donor Genesis 3000 came with cast iron grates. I cut one of the two in half with a cutoff wheel on an angle grinder. I also MacGyvered a center burner by cutting down a 1000 center burner. I crimped the end and cut a notch for the burner tube. Four years later, it's still going...

I had the same issue. My first fix was to grind down the pieces that interfered. It worked. I have since invested in the new Hunsaker Super Heavy Duty Grate. The handles are designed differently, and I don't have to deal with Weber's GBS center section falling out. It's expensive...
