Yah, I'd go the sandblasting route depending on the price or if I had access to one. I'm really liking the Member's Mark oven and grill cleaner and pressure washing combo...doesn't get as clean as sandblasting it but clean enough to look all shiny and new again which makes it more attractive...

Yup, I'm with Bruce...if the E310 is not rusting out then I'd spring for some of RC's hardware. However, if you do want shiny and new then the Costco one is the way to go due to having warranties from Weber and Costco and all the extras that come with it.

As far as the lid goes I'd just swap it out with another one that's in better condition...easy peasy. And yes, if you have access to a sandblaster then that would be the best and easiest route as far as cleaning the firebox. Just search "sandblasting" on the forum and you should find some...

What about x2 3 burner grills as mentioned from other folks? I have both an 05 Platinum C and a 2000 Platinum with the deep firebox and have the best of both worlds. I can do roti on the deep firebox and regular grilling on the 05.

I have the Onegrill rotisserie for my 2000 Platinum and I like it, I use it monthly. It's solidly built and made from 304 grade SS. The price did go up though, I purchased it for $79 plus tax and now it's $99 plus tax. Still well worth it though IMO...

Oh well, no worries...just gotta wait for the next one or the one you want.

I rehabbed one of those grills for a buddy of mine but the one I did had the crimson hood and tables. He wanted a redhead though so I put a red hood on it as well as the modded light handle.

Yes, that is a nice grill as Bruce said. I'd offer $50 and see if the seller budges as he/she might meet you halfway at 60 something (never hurts to ask). Also, make sure that rust is minimal, especially on the left side (when standing in front of it) where the firebox is attached to the frame.

I'd go with the Genesis only if the cabinet isn't rusted out. If it is then pass on it and find an old school one and refurbish it.
