Evenness of indirect heat with Genesis 3 burner?

Bruce was right about the Q I got-now for the two of us thats all I use, my Genesis A just sits unused. I would have no use for a larger 3 or 4 burner gas grill. Performer gets all the use when it comes to larger portion cooking.

Going on the Member's Mark for tonight

Went this am and they only had Tbones for 11.98/lb which I guess isn't bad but they didn't look great-will go back mid week and look again. Wife only eats Tbone or porterhouse which are relatives. I realize steak cuts are all personal preference but I don't care for ribeyes, find them fatty.

    New Searwood pic.

When I had the Traeger Pro 875, I too was relatively easy to clean with a shop vac. Same sentiments with grease tray and stack. In cleaning out all the ash-after every cook-I often wondered how much of that ash got into the food! it was up top on the side rails as well as below on the pans and...

Any Issues With Weber's 6 ft. Adapter Hose for Go-Anywhere?

I got the 6' hose for my Q I restored, have had no issues at all. But as BPratt stated and I was advised by Bruce, be careful opening the tank slowly first on the Q, then light.

    Kevin Costner's Horizon Trailer

Despite their falling out, seems like he learned a good style from Taylor Sheridan. Pretty similar. Like a lot of his movies.

Seldom Found: Genesis Silver with good bottom

All these nice photos of dyed handles and knobs gives me thoughts of doing my 2 burner Silver A. Already has as a small blue top, and I had toyed with getting a taller center thermo top for it, but they're getting harder to find. Also thought about finding a handle light as well. The Q I...

    My new project Q1200

Final update after 2nd cook. Added in smoker box with cherry chips and fired up, heated up very quickly and aroma great! Added a chicken breast which cooked to perfection, finished with wife's gourmet salad. Think Bruce is right, I'm already liking this little gem!

My other hobby - what’s yours

Used to ski a lot back east when the knees and back were good..Got into G scale railroading in Ma before we moved west. Pretty heavy into that, which can get expensive as heck. Sold off most of it before coming here, now just have to get around to installing a small layout here. Have a Lionel...

    My new project Q1200

Here's the final update on my project Q.Wife picked up a new hose today actually, genuine Weber for Q rather than a Mickey Mouse one. Hooked it up, turned on as Bruce had outlined and voila! Nice blue gas flame. Used my smoke and grate sensor, and this little thing had no problem at all going up...

    CI pan question

We've had an old Lodge 10.5" for some time and wife loves it! Latest addition we go at Sams is a Lodge Yellowstone 13.5" pan that is equally incredible, works grat with chicken parm recipe.

    My new project Q1200

Bruce, I'm thinking about going with a new shorter hose for safety sake-not sure how old that one is, and as Larry has always indicated propane isn't something you want to fool around with. Plus, I hate the idea of using and then having to constantly dispose of those small cylinders, despite...
