    Found my unfindable...a Weber Junior/Jr.

Forget cheeseburger pics! I demand that you provide pics of USDA Prime ribeyes when you cook on this thing! ;)

That looks tremendous, Jeff. Only thing that's left is some burger patty pics showing the hatch marks left by those QM grates.

    Weber Genesis Silver C - $50 deal?

Some Silver Cs did have a right side swing shelf: https://tvwbb.com/showthread.php?71082-Value-of-a-Genesis-Silver-C-over-a-Silver-B (no stainless trim in front of the firebox on that one), but the one Bill's going to look at does.

    Weber Genesis Silver C - $50 deal?

That might be a replacement hood as it doesn't say "Genesis Silver" - which may be a good thing. If you pick it up, I'd like to see the model number. It might be a Genesis Gold that had the stainless lid replaced under warranty.

That grill was free a couple of days ago, no?

Saving an '05 Silver B Premium

I was initially going to flip it... but I've had a change of heart and am going to keep it... New lower shelf: New crossover tube and igniter: I have it pictured here for resale with a set of Uniflasy grates, but in my keeper configuration, I am going to use a set of smooth-finish 65618...

New source for grates and flavorizors

Qulimetal on the left, Uniflasy on the right: The price difference this month has been $8-10 between the set (w/ the Qulimetal set costing more). With the Qulimetal ones, you get 3 extra north/south rods and 1 extra east/west rods per grate. I have to say that the Qulimetal ones look very good.

As promised here, some photos of the firebox and lid getting the Dawn Power Dissolver treatment: I will say there was some minimal scrubbing by hand afterwards, but I too had pretty good results from it (the carbon buildup on the lid that I usually remove with a razor blade came off like...

Congrats, Rich. Can you please open the right side cabinet door, look on the side panel on the right, and take a photo of the sticker that should have the model number/serial number/country of manufacture?

Dave, I've rehabbed 2 of these Genesis-lookin' Spirit 2-burners and have also parted out a similar looking 3-burner. Made in China. Trust me.

I will mention that it's not made in the USA, but I've rehabbed a couple of the 2-burner versions and I find the quality to be comparable.

    Found my unfindable...a Weber Junior/Jr.

Hmm I could cobble together at least 1 set of stainless stamped grates for the Junior, then.

My Q300 - Showoff before I sell it

I'd keep photo #2 which shows the nice blue flame with orange tips, but I'd definitely some daytime photos for your ad. (unless you are planning to list it on Craigslist, where blurry/nighttime/poorly frame photos are the norm)

I bought a spray bottle of that stuff per your recommendation but I have not used it that way. I will try this and report back!

    Found my unfindable...a Weber Junior/Jr.

Congrats, Jeff. I have seen pictures of people using a halved work table (so 3 slats instead of 6) on the left side on a Junior to have an additional work surface.

    Replace, it's $6 from Weber.

New source for grates and flavorizors

I ordered a set of the Qulimetal FBs and am impressed by the value. For the record, I have tried several different kinds, ranging from RCP to RiversEdge to Hongso to Bar.B.Q.S. The Qulimetal ones are indeed non-magnetic and appear to free of sharp edges. Here's a comparsion picture when...

Saving an '05 Silver B Premium

One of the welds has failed on a grate on one side. It would be usable but not a great look on a grill to be rehabbed. I will hold on to the other grate for a future project. I will say that this is the first green '05 B Premium I've seen in person. I've parted out a black one and have also...
