Help me identify weber summit grill

Hi there, I am looking a used weber summit, what I think is an older s-620. I'm a little confused as the grates appear to be cast iron, but i thought summits were all stainless?? Any guess as to the age or year? Are the burners and flavorizers stainless or regular steel? Its an NG version...

New Style Weber 300s vs prior 300s - differences?

Thanks Frankie - was hoping someone who has owned both would post. Can you comment on quality of the two? Any differences? That makes sense - thanks. probably not a huge impact to me as I don't do rotisserie and seldom do ribs, but I can see the issue.

New Style Weber 300s vs prior 300s - differences?

Just to be clear - I'm only looking for feedback on north/south burner 300 series vs east/west versions. I don't care about the older ones in this thread. I hear ya LM and I had done that very same thing with my 1000, but I was a bit bored with it and do enjoy the newer one. About 1 " deeper...

Help with 2011 Genny Ep-310 cook box.

Let us know how you do. I called Weber Friday and they were no help -- really surprised they did not have any paint or suggestions. I used a medium gray rust paint from the hardware store and it came out too light -- did not match.

Hi there, I didn't want to highjack this thread, so can you guys with the new style 300s comment on my new thread? Seems there are a ton of people in here wiht experience on the new ones -- would like to get your take. Thread is here...

New Style Weber 300s vs prior 300s - differences?

Hey there, For those who own the "new style" 300 grills with the north-south burner orientation, how do they compare to the older/regular style east-west burner configuration? Pros/Cons? Just wondering as I may buy a new one. Please do not post about older grills -- just interested in the...

Grey rust-proofing paint for Genesis 300 series?

Thanks. That color is harder to match than you think. I ended up going with a self etching rust primer and medium gray rust paint that matched pretty closely from the cap to the existing color, but it wasn't close once it was used. Came out way lighter.

Grey rust-proofing paint for Genesis 300 series?

Hey there, I'd like to paint the grey metal inside the enclosed part of our Genesis 300 series we picked up used. Does anyone know of a good paint that matches the color and works well? Thanks in advance!

Southern Cal: Anyone want to buy a nice classic red gas grill?

OK, finally getting back to this. Was out of the country and then got busy. As described before, this is a well-loved Genesis original (propane, side burner) that I semi-restored about 10 years ago with a new wood handle, stainless burners, thick stainless flavorizer from that guy on ebay...

Southern Cal: Anyone want to buy a nice classic red gas grill?

What were you hoping to spend? Maybe my price is high. I can also maybe sell the cover, tank and smoker box separately, but really want to try to make this easy.

Southern Cal: Anyone want to buy a nice classic red gas grill?

Yes. Would need a full size replacement grill for the left side though. PM me with offer. @Bill: Thinking 175? Most beat ones on CL go for 100 and this has a $40 new cover plus the unobtanium smoker box. I'm in OC near the airport.

Thanks Shane. I couldn't agree more, but haven't had the time to clean and shoot photos. Picture this one but with dirtier wood. :)

Southern Cal: Anyone want to buy a nice classic red gas grill?

Thanks Guys. I hate to be "that guy" who'd first post is a for sale post, but I tried to register multiple times over the last year or two and never got in. finally got help from a moderator. I can post some photos - I just hadn't cleaned it yet and wanted to get a message out there to see if...

Southern Cal: Anyone want to buy a nice classic red gas grill?

Hey there, I've been a Weber devotee for years now and have a well maintained original red top gas grill with side burner that I've loved. however, a neighbor who was moving away made me an offer I couldn't refuse on a newer model and I'm making the switch. Is there any one in the SoCal area...
