After digging deeper into the forums, I found the parts list that Bryan had saved for the 4.0 boards, so at least that way I can order the parts needed.

So I was bored the other night, and decided to work on my HM. I was updating it with an RJ45 connector for the servo/fan when I accidentally hooked the ground and power to the fan backwards. So I'm thinking I sent 12 volts to the board, cause now my display shows a bunch of weird figures...

I'm all for cat 5 jacks and cables. I have neither a crimper to make my cables, nor the store in our little podunk town to purchase anything other than a 2 connection phone cord, or 8 connection cat 5 cable.

I'm not sure if my HM took the flash. Where would I go on the HM web page to find out what revision I have?

What is the size of the outside square portion of your holder. It looks like it might be able to slide into a 2" piece of square tubing, which would be perfect for my smoker.

Has anyone thought of making a square valve? Rather than changing the square opening on the fan round to fit the pvc pipe. Why not keep it square, and use 2" square tubing. The opening on my fan fits nicely into 2" square tubing with some wiggle room, and would be alot easier to install on...

Mine did the same thing. Seems that I didn't wait long enough on the wifi and when I formatted, updated, etc. I wasn't able to see the web page either. Watch your heatermeter. If the wifi is working, the meter will show you an IP addy. Mine was 192.168.1.86, so I set my puter to 192.168.1.7...
