    My two freebies.

    Those are some great freebies.

    Silver C Project

I only pounded on the hinge pin itself - my parts Silver B would not give up one hinge pin any other way. Maybe I just got lucky.

Fall in Florida: Tax returns DONE & time to GET BUSY!

Quite the collection, Jon. Sounds like you really have some good options for flipping. Make sure you keep us supplied with photos as you go!

    Silver C Project

For a stuck hinge bolt I used a stainless bolt and a hammer and put the end of the stainless bolt on the hinge bolt and pounded it out relatively easily. I had put a little PB blaster on there, though.

Looking for thoughts and user experience with the new Genesis II series

Yeah, I like the way the CI cooks, but I have had a number of negative experiences with CI on grills, starting way back with my Grandfather's Silver B - his first, OEM set of grates were flaky and gross within about 5 years. My father's OEM grates on his Silver B lasted about 7 or 8 years, but...

Bruce's First Skyline Rebuild - Before & After

Congrats on the sale, Bruce! Seems a shame that he wasn't looking to buy based on the rarity, but at least he will appreciate it at his cabin - and at least he paid you what you were asking! By the way, we have a Kenmore made by Kitchenaid and we like it a lot. My roommate bought it at a Sears...

    My $50 Weber Flame

Congrats, Garret. I think finding one of these for $50 is a pretty good deal given their rarity. Thank you, Jeff. Quite honestly I didn't know they existed until reading your thread about yours on here, but then I thought I'd look around to find one and got lucky to find this one with a kind...

Difference in Genesis 1000 Burners/Does my Redhead have the wrong burners?

Ah, perfect, so no worries. Just a change in burner design then. Thank you Rich, Larry, Jeff, and Bruce for the great photo. I appreciate everyone putting my mind at ease.

Difference in Genesis 1000 Burners/Does my Redhead have the wrong burners?

Hello all, been busy with life lately, but got some time to clean up and clean out my Redhead Genesis 1000 and noticed an odd thing about the burners in the process. The seller told me that he had replaced the burners, and I noted at the time that they appeared to be newer. Unfortunately in...

Bruce's First Skyline Rebuild - Before & After

They're going to go on my redhead the next time I'm at the Cape. My Cape Silver B can live with the older style knobs.

Bruce's First Skyline Rebuild - Before & After

Bruce, this is a beauty and I am going to steal your idea and rob the handles off of that parts Silver B I picked up. I think the grill really looks good with those black end pieces.

    Good looking restore

Nice to look at, but too rich of a price.

    Providence CL spammer

Yep, listed about 14 times give or take what day I'm looking. I don't even bother flagging it anymore.

    My $50 Weber Flame

Many of us have spoken of just how neat the Weber Flame is, despite their rarity. I had the chance to pick up a Weber Flame fireplace that I found on craigslist in Chatham, MA for the very low sum of $50. Someone also mentioned this specific listing in the Weber Flame thread. The seller had...
