    Rotisserie question

Hi all, I'm looking for a rotisserie for my grills, and I have a question about fitment. I'm looking at the Onegrill roto for a 3 burner grill (to fit my Genesis 1000), and I'm wondering if it will also fit my 22.5" kettle (with a cajun bandit roto ring). Does anybody have this rotisserie or...

    Kebab skewers

I have the Raichlen set and love them. The width really helps keep food in place rather than rotating every time you try to turn them. I also put a hell of a point on them with my bench grinder to help get them into tougher foods, highly recommend doing that.

    Summit Platinum refurb?

Hmm I might have to go take a look. Looks like decent condition from the outside with the exception of the side burner lid, but I'll keep an eye on the front of the box.

    Summit Platinum refurb?

Any drawbacks or pitfalls unique to this model? I just finished a 1000 so I know those inside and out pretty well, never used one of these though.

    Summit Platinum refurb?

Anyone know about these grills? Worth $50 for a refurb project? I don't know anything about these but looks like maybe a stainless frame and stainless grates.

That was my understanding - I'm a little curious if there's any negative effect on sear quality with the greater distance between the burners and grate though. It seems to put out plenty of heat though so hopefully not an issue.

Thanks! Yep, all RCP grates and bars. The warming rack is stainless but from another fabricator. It's nice but not RCP nice... Definitely will post some action pics soon! I still need to pick up a rotisserie but it's on the docket. Looking at the heavy duty (I think they all say that) Onlyfire...

    First Genesis 1000 restoration

Not too much left to say - I found a couple hours to finish up the final assembly, do a quick light up (works perfectly!), and find it a spot on the patio. This thing is an absolute beast, I'm glad I took the time to do this one right! I think there's about $400-450 into it all told, but I built...

We have fire! No leakage either, which is always a plus. Made a little more progress and got a couple gratuitous shots of the RCP internals while they are still shiny. Check out that reflection in the underside of the lid! So close to cooking on it... My posts have caught up to real time now so...

Thanks! Poking around this forum and picking up tips and tricks from the many high quality restorations here has definitely made it easier. Can't wait to throw some steaks on it!

It's supposed to help keep rodents and wildlife from chewing on your line. They can chew through one pretty quick when there's a little grease dripped on it. I don't expect too much issue but figured it looks cool and it was cheap, so if it saves me a new line it was worth it.
