Heatermeter Aux. Thermocouple And two probe board V6.1(Final Version)

Thanks Ralph, that worked great! The only problem I had was finding panel mount jacks. For some reason I couldn’t find any on DigiKey or Mouser that were panel mount 2.5 mono jacks. Had to order some from Amazon and they’re junk, but they’ll do for now. If anyone knows what I’m doing wrong on...

Heatermeter Aux. Thermocouple And two probe board V6.1(Final Version)

Heatermeter Aux. Thermocouple And two probe board V6.1(Final Version)

Should the probes have a separate ground wire each from the RD3 side (using up all four extra RJ45 pins), can they share one, or can they share the solenoid/fan ground? At the HM side, do I need to jumper a probe ground or grounds in addition to the probe signal side? Thanks for the help!

    INTRODUCING: the "Roto Damper"

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone, especially Ralph for sending me a copy of the STL files. I printed everything last week and built my HeaterMeter and RD3 last Sunday morning. I fired up the BGE a little after lunch and played with the HM/RD3 setup. It pretty much worked perfectly out...

Hello everyone, I’m just checking in here as I’m about to start building a HeaterMeter and hopefully an RD3. Looks like a really cool project.
