Frozen Margarita
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Recipe By: Bill Banick
Summary:
This is a very easy to remember frozen margarita recipe from my good friend Bill. Simply 1 part tequila, 1 part triple sec, 1 part lime stuff, which is 1/2 Rose's and 1/2 limeade. Not overly sweet or sour. And the taste of the tequila comes through.
These ingredients are scaled for a blender. However, you can premix this in larger quantities. We make this mix at the beach in a 1/2 gallon plastic pitcher with a screw top lid and keep it in the fridge. When you're ready to grind a batch, simply pour in 1 1/2 cups of mix by the measurements on the side of the blender itself, and go.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup tequila, (recommended: Sausa's white)
1/2 cup Triple Sec, (recommended: Bols)
1/4 cup Roses lime juice
1/4 cup frozen limeade concentrate, (recommended: Minutemaid)
ice
Directions:
Add the 1 1/2 cups of mix to the blender. Fill with ice and grind. After the ice is finished, additional cubes can be added to thicken the drink. You can *carefully* stir the added cubes to the blades with a non-metal spoon.
