Cracker Candy

This is a favorite of ours for any occasion. It's super easy to make and tastes fantastic.

1 cup brown sugar
2 sticks unsalted butter
40 saltine crackers
1 bag Ghirardelli milk chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar. Bring to a boil and boil til frothy.

Arrange saltine crackers on a foil-lined cookie sheet.

Pour brown sugar/butter mixture over crackers and place immediately in the oven for 5 minutes.

Remove crackers from oven, spread entire bag of chocolate chips on top, and refrigerate immediately until set. If the chocolate chips aren't melting properly, put the pan back in the oven for a minute or two before refrigerating.

Break into pieces before serving. If they break irregularly, that's okay.
