StokerLog ETA function

Amir,

I cooked a Prime Rib last night but couldn’t find the “ETA” function. I think it was there in previous cooks. I used the grill probe and one meat probe. Other than that, both the Stoker and StokerLog worked great!

ETA is in there in all versions. But if the math generates incorrect data (like the cook being finished the day before!) I don't display it.

In general, the concept here was good but in practice, it doesn't work so well. The temp rise is a pretty complex thing as it related to many factors which don't lend themselves easily to mathematical prediction.

Thanks for the kind words regarding the program functionality otherwise

Thanks, Amir. So when it shows the ETA, it’s frosting on the cake. I love the program. My family thinks I’m really Hi Teck but I don’t tell them that StokerLog is doing all the work. I'll be trying my first overnighter this weekend using StokerLog, cooking a brisket. I just bought a set of Bose speakers for my laptop so I’ll hear quality alarms that may go off during the night.
