Giant bone in ribeye. Don't be put off by the color. I use a little mustard to bind the S&P rub. I also like it leaves just the slightest hint of turmeric behind. Most folks would not notice it. Just that there is something just a little more than plain ol S&P. I don't even remember where I picked it up. Maybe someone on here. When I was gonna make that first brisket

No it was specifically to use mustard (plain yellow type) as a binder for your rubs. It's my "go to" secret. BTW that giant ribeye was awesome tonight. Just light coat to hold the S&P on, smoke and patience

Do you have a finished photo? Love Rib Eye steaks
Sorry no. Wife had to take babies home, rest period for it became a little longer than planned, had ol' Fred here, I told the poor guy 530, wife got stuck at daughter's and we didn't finish until until about 30 min ago. It's been a hectic weekend

This is an interesting one. I’m going to put this into Paprika 3 for a later date. There‘s a lot going on in this rub. I’m not sure what to use it on or maybe I lack the imagination for it. Chicken, beef, shrimp?
