Weber Platinum Find

Hi All,

Just picked this up on my way home today for $40.00, Genesis Platinum black hood, natural gas. Seems in pretty good shape overall. The bottom crossbar inside nuts broke off as I was lifting it into my van and the one bottom shelf mounting steel was rotted.
I am having difficulty trying to decipher the serial number. I did find a small tag on the side and another one underneath by the manifold. Can anyone assist in trying to figure out what year approximate it is?
I plan on running a gas line to the outside of my shop as it already has a gas line going to a radiant tube heater.
Feels like a nice simple project. Oh crap!!! Am I getting a case of Weberitis?
What do you guys think?
Thanks, Rob

If the EE signifies year 1999? this is in pretty good shape overall. I will try to get a better look this weekend at the tag on the side of the manifold. I do not know what the sticker below means, image 180255.

Thanks guys.

that's a nice platinum. The SS flavor bars looks to be intact. The burners and cross burner are in great shape. Just needs a paint job and some SS screws and it's good to go for another 10 years.

I've had success reading the faded serial numbers by using a UV light. For some reason the faded/ghost image of the printed number pops out under the influence of the UV light.
