Put two 10lb briskets on about 8:15pm at Winthrop.
Figure they would be done about 10-11:00am, a couple of hours before turnin. These babies took off, had to pull both about 9:00, put in foil,
then in an insulating bag, wrapped in towl and put in cooler. Placed 6th in brisket.

Same thing happened to our butts. Could not slice them so we pulled them. Got 4th.

Had six racks of bbacks, two racks of St Louis. Ribs cooked well on our Klose but after cutting none of them looked like a 10. Picked the best and ended up with an honorable mention.

Got a goose-egg in chicken and lamb. Will rework
chicken entry in time for redhook. Maybe we will turn in thighs like everyone else.

Nice contest, great weather, fun little town, 8 1/2 hour roadtrip for us, did not bring any booze home.
 
Hi Duck,
The interesting surprise thing with the brisket was I cooked one Prime and one choice.The choice cut better and tasted better. Go figure.
Got us a 3rd.
It was good to see you boys there.
