Wife: Can you smoke a chicken for lunch?
Husband: Is this a trick question?

Used cherry wood this time - I found it a little more subtle in flavor than the hickory.
First time using a clay saucer. I found no difference in the moisture of the chicken compared to using a full water pan. Clean up was also a breeze.

I pulled back the husk after I took the photo. Soaked the corn in water for an hour, baster with some EVOO, salt and pepper.

I guess today was chicken day. You, Kim, and I all did chicken today. Nice looking bird there.

HAHA I saw that! Last weekend was Rib weekend which I was also apart of. Chickens are nice because they are relatively fast and cheap. Brisket and pork butt are not common here and must be bought from the butcher, so its $3.50lbs for brisket and $2.99/lbs for butts.
