Did the reverse sear on a tomahawk tonight for dinner.

Pulled it at 110 degrees. Took about 45 minutes to get there.

All 4 burners on high and the sear burner on high. Wanted 700 but at least I got close.

Baked potato, green beans, and a dab of deviled egg potato salad I made for my wife to take to her work potluck tomorrow.

The payoff of the night was my 80 year old Mother picking up the bone and tearing it up at the end of the meal. Made it all worth it.

The steak looks amazing! The story of your mom is the best!
Beautiful cook on that steak, Mike! My mom was known as the picker of bones in our house. No chicken carcass was safe! Made me smile to hear about your mom tucking into that bone!

My mom grew up poor and often hungry. So, she hates wasting food of any sort. When we have fried chicken, when she's done there is only a tiny pile of completely clean bones. Looks like a sacrifice ritual just occurred. Lol

Looks really good.....those bits around the bone are the best....tid bits of meat and juicy juicy fat all over it....I would almost choose the bone over a plate with meat on it, it is that good. One of my posts has me chomping down on the bone of a tomahawk.
