Just wondering if anyone knew off hand, what the distance between the charcoal grate and the bottom of the cooking grate on a 22 1/2" kettle? I'm looking to make a charcoal basket the same diameter as the gourmet system opening. That way I can light the basket on my big burner and drop the basket through the hole. That way, I don't have to find a place for the cooking grate. Or I can one touch it if I want to as well. Sorry for the babbling... Any help is appreciated. Thx. John
