anyone ever smoked with it? We knocked down a tree yesterday. Didn't know if it was worth going over and grabbing some.
 
I haven't, but I would!
I think any orange, grapefruit, lemon OR tangerine wood would be perfect for use grilling or smoking any meat including fish.
Brian, go grab a lot of it and try some... best to have more (if you like it) than not enough...
 
I have not, but I saw orange wood for sale in Academy yesterday. I didn't get any of it, but I did snag a bag of peach wood.

Give us a report back after you try some.
 
Grabbed two grocery bags full. Made some quick bscb's tonight with a simple rub of garlic, paprika, celery salt and black pepper in my Weber kettle.

Smoke flavor was good, but I was a little shy on how much wood to put in. Next time I will use a bit more and it will be a bit stronger. The fire smelled awesome!
