Servo Question

Hi All,

Just currently in the process of getting all the components together to build 2 HeaterMeter's; one for myself and one for Bob Pearson over here in the UK.

Been looking at the blower and Servo threads and most of the servos appear to be micro servos. Can you use a standard size servo? I have several standard ones lying around as I have a few model helicopters which I have upgraded to high speed and torque digital ones.

What voltage do they run on, how much current do they draw? If they run on 5VDC and have 3 wires (+5VDC, Gnd, Signal) they will probably work... might need to beef up the amperage on your power supply.
