Rookie Mistake

Well I messed up. After cooking a few weeks back life happened and I did not clean out or cover my wsm. Well after a couple of weeks of heat and rain it looked like a science experiment. A special thank you to this site for god, simple cleaning instructions for such a catastrophe. The only downside is the good gunk was washed away with the bad. Now to get to work bunking it up again.

Life happens and we all get in a rush. At the very least, toss a cover over the WSM until you get a chance to clean it properly. A pile of soaked ash in the bowl over an extended period of time is ugly. And should be treated as abuse.
