ribs and rain

I've been rib hungry for weeks. Broke down and picked some up this morning. Got the rub put on and the charcoal in the chimney and lit. Next thing I know my phone is got some alarm I never heard before going off. Turned out to be a flash flood warning.

Ribs are on, its starting to rain and the wind is howling. Going to be an interesting afternoon!

Hopefully the ribs (and you) are safe. I've got a giant umbrella that I use to shade my WSM and keep the rain off it too.

Pretty strong storm cell blew through. Strong but didn't last too long. No flooding here at least.

Had my ribs, I'm a happy camper.

Way to go on not letting a little flash flood stop you from enjoying some ribs.

I once had to have my wife hold the umbrella to shield me from hail as our t-bone came off the performer.
