Simple and easy but very good. First made it in 2019.
Puerto Rican Adobo Powder
6 TB. kosher salt
2 TB. white peppercorns
2 TB. cumin seeds
2 TB. garlic powder
1. Combine the salt, peppercorns and cumin seeds in a dry skillet and cook over medium heat until the spices are lightly toasted and fragrant, about 3 minutes. Transfer the mixture to a bowl to cool.
2. Combine the roasted spice mixture and garlic powder in a spice mill or blender and grind to a fine powder.
3. Store the mixture in an airtight container away from heat or light. It will keep for several months. Makes a little less than 1 cup
