Perfect Pilaf

Have any favorite rice pilaf recipes to share? Made some last night with peas and golden raisins added. Any favorite seasonings prior to cooking and additions after? I know, sky is the limit.

I sometimes add a good curry powder to my pilaf (i.e. Garam Marsala or Marajah). Just a sprinkling and it changes the pilaf completely.
