Paint or powder coating?

Anyone know what the coating is on the Q grill base and lid? I seems to be hard like powder coating. I uncovered my Q220 to find much corrosion going on on both the lid and base. (I was setting up to take pictures of the two burner modification that I made to it a few years ago - guess its been longer than I thought since it was used) It's usable but sort-of unsightly. The lid cover color may also be tough to match too.

Turns out that the Q's are, in fact, powder coated. Seems the die cast alloy is not pre-prepped with a conversion coating - like Alodine or something similar. This one will get that treatment - another project :rolleyes:
