OTG Pork Roast

A good friend came up from Long Island and brought some amazing Brats and Krainerwurst with him. Threw them on the Genisis with some sweet corn and was having so much fun I forgot to take pictures. Oops!!!

So, went for a nice hike on Saturday by the dam in Peterborough.

Sat down for a bit to enjoy the view and drink a nice Oktoberfest

Before we left for the hike, I pulled a pork roast out of the fridge and got it in some brine. Arrived back home pretty hungry, so got some rub on the roast and the OTG fired up with 3/4's of a chimney of KBB and some leftover coals. Added a little Pecan and Apple for the smoke.

Another goody my friend brought with him

After an hour at 350 here's the finished product

Finished off with more corn and a salad. Your plate . . .

It was a good weekend with a old friend.

Thanks for looking . . .

Gorgeous pics and another great cook from the great north country, well done Greg.
Oh, sipping on some Founders are ya? I have some familiarity with them

Tasty looking roast, Gregory. Thanks for sharing the beautiful photos of Peterborough...I need to get out to western NH more often.
