??? on first butt

Hello Everyone

Saturday morning will be my first butt.Its a 4.8 lb bone in.I plan on using the method and was wondering how many briquets to start with .It will be in the low 70's climbing into the mid 80's by the afternoon.
I will say this grill blew me away buy the seeming build quality and heavyness.

The Minion Method with 70-80 degree temps outside. I'd start with about 12. Remember to control the temps on the way up. Start closing the vents when it hits 200 and keep it under 270 at the grate. Best is 225-240.

Howdy, Jeff. John's suggestion is what I use (about 150 mi soouth of you), 12. Remember to fashion a windscreen if you haven't already. A stiff breeze out of nowhere can mess up a good thing.

Or you can do as I do and use the BBQ Guru and start with 6-8 briquets. Put the meat on and just waite for some great BBQ.
