NG Grill Resurrection

Was ready to send this 2003 model Members Mark (Grand Hall) to the bone yard. Casters were so bad that it wouldn't move , CI burners rusted out, cover in shreds and had been sitting around for several years collecting crud. After doing a little research, found out that parts for it had come down in price considerably. Went to the Dollar Store and picked up a few cans of oven cleaner sprayed it down, inside and out, let it sit for a few hours, hosed and toweled it down. Ordered casters, burners and cover for just over $110 and here it is. Grilled some chicken thighs Friday afternoon as a maiden voyage. Had almost forgot what a good job this old relic does. Miriam wanted me to sell it as part of cleaning out old brewing and grilling gear I almost never use but we decided it's on the keeper list now.

Amazing how well it cleaned up with very little effort. Will be getting more scrubbing as time allows. 64" overall all length with a Jenn-Air rotisserie kit for it that will handle 2, 16 lb. Turkey with ease. Also cleaned up and seasoned this old griddle so it's all ready for some smash burgers.
