Mother's Day brisket, with Kevin's coffee rub

Doing my first brisket in years tonight, I've lost count, maybe 10.

I'm also scratching one off the to do list that's 19 years old, Coffee-Cocoa Rub for Brisket. Always wanted to try it, never got around to it.

I mixed it up today and got the brisket on, it smells great, I'm really looking forward to it.

Given the price these days it won't be often. $7/lb for a fresh AA (select) 😱. This one was perfect so I jumped on it, I trimmed very little off, still $85. I hate the idea of throwing away $20+ of fat. But enough about that, I'm really going to enjoy this.
