Late post, 4th of July and camping in yosemite

Been busy and haven't had much time to post.

Starts with the 4th of July, decided I wanted burgers. So I picked up some chuck steak

Plated with jalapeños, cheddar, thick cut bacon, peppers, and guacamole, with a little sweet baby rays sauce.

On to the camping......

Every summer me the fiancée and our son spend a week camping in yosemite. Lots of fishing, hiking, swimming, and beer drinking. Didn't do lots of BBQ, but did a little.

Found a chuck eye at the grocery store!

Thanks Tony, I guess she is a keeper :p. the burger was very good, love grinding the chuck at home, seems like it has a much better flavor when fresh ground.

I'm making burgers tomorrow... But there's no way mine will looks as good as yours.
 
Great post Nick. Thanks for sharing your family's experience. The food and camping look great. My family and I visited Yosemite some years ago and I'd love to get back; it's a magical place.
 
Hey Nick, where was the pic of half dome taken? Looks like you were either up on Sentinel Dome, or maybe at Glacier Point.

I went to Yosemite with my family 3 weeks ago. It was awesome. I think we got the best views from the hike to the top of Sentinel Dome.
