Today my son Anthony had another refresher course on how to prep ribs and fire management.
We did pork ribs today.....

This was his first time helping me out a few years ago. I think he was 3 or 4. He is now 7

He got his fire started.

Then he seasoned the ribs while the wsm was coming up to temp.

After a few hours they looked like this.

Done in 4.5 hours. The smoker was running at 275 and used hickory and cherry wood.

No sides needed since it's just me and the kids.

Won't be long before pitmaster Anthony starts teaching that other pitmaster new tricks :wsm:

It is never too early for them to learn good BBQ Tony! Good looking son and it
looks like you are teaching him well!

Give a boy some ribs and he eats for a day. Teach the boy how to make ribs and he eats for a lifetime! Teach them well. Great post, Tony and Anthony. Nice looking ribs too ;)

My friend you are a good man, this world needs more Dads like you. Great looking pictures and the ribs look good also.
