Good news: got a 16# angus brisket on the WSM for tomorrow's dinner with friends.
Bad news: it's raining and I hate huddling under the eaves to stay semi-dry.
I need a P1gvilion, or a CowCover or heck, a Henhaus or something! Grrr.

I'm embarrassed to be seen in the same shirt, in two different pictures, two different times and in two different states.
More so, since I'm currently wearing the same one!
I do have other shirts, I promise.

Before my "Grill Garden" was built( that came before the pergola) I'd either put up the EZ Shade or even an umbrella with a clamp on the bottom to cover the cookers. Sorry,no pics.

I did the umbrella thing for many years, but for the past ten or so I have been lucky enough to have a ten foot high wrap around porch that keeps me and my cooks out of the rain, which like Gary has been non stop for my current cook. Pigvillion would be nice though.

Great thread! Thanks for sharing those pic's Jim. I have a setup similar to Dwain, however it's mostly for that hot sun. It hasn't been rained on in a long, long time.

I had to paint my pergola recently. We had a BAAAD infestation of carpenter bees. I got busy with Pammi's birthday present, a very nice Wagner paint sprayer and have been busy the last few weekends.
The finished product.

Pammi's paint sprayer ROCKS! It would have taken a lot longer to do without it! Now, I'm ready to get to this!
